About

Historically, Chinese people, from Emperors to writers to ordinary individuals, have been interested in Tibetan religion and culture. Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhist leaders have played significant roles in the development of the modern Chinese state and in fostering relations. More recently, many Tibetan Buddhist teachers are beginning to enjoy reverence and tremendous popularity within a broad spectrum of Chinese society, including university professors, business elites, celebrities, and even among government officials, and urban Chinese, especially professionals.

This website is dedicated to showcase Chinese people engaged with Tibetan Buddhism and Buddhist culture, through their normal life, show casing some human connections. Through short videos and stories, we can see an appreciation and embracement of Tibetan culture that breaks the common perception that the two communities do not have shared values.
